L’AINE Services Limited on Monday, November 11, 2013, was paid claims worth GH¢ 5,450.00 by its insurer, Prime Insurance Company Limited, to cater for a member of staff who was involved in amotor accident while on official duty.
Mr. Joseph N. Dorh, Managing Director of Prime InsuranceCompany Limited in an interview with HR Focus said that companies should put in place insurance measures that will help safeguard their employees during unfortunate events like this. “With majority of Ghanaians working in the public sector and with insurance culture not very common amongst Ghana’s workforce;employersneed to take bold steps by buying insurance policies that would make their employees feel very important during unforeseen situations such as these.”
Mr. James Laar, COO of L’AINEsaid that KEK Brokers (Intermediary between L’AINE Services Limited and Prime Insurance Company Limited) need to be congratulated for the role they played in finding a very good insurance company that could deliver the type of insurance policy L’AINE wanted for its employees.
On her part, the CEOof L’AINE, Dr. Mrs. Ellen Hagan,applauded Prime Insurance for delivering on their promise. “L’AINE has invested in several insurance policies to protect its staff including Motor Insurance, Home and Personal Assets insurance, Fidelity Guarantee, Professional Indemnity, Group Personal Accident Insurance and Workmen Compensation.”
Prime Insurance paid the claim to L’AINE Services Limited two weeks after the occurrence of the accident.
