SWAZILAND WINS JA COMPANY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION The grand finale of the African Junior Achievement (JA) Company of the Year competition has been held in Accra at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. The competition, held on the 21stOctober, 2011, was aimed at creating a signature showcase for junior achievement and high school students who benefitted from the JA company programme. Eco Eagle PYT Limited from Swaziland, an environmentally friendly company, which focused on the production of organic vegetables with sawdust, cow manure and other waste organic materials as the growing medium, beat stiff opposition from twenty other JA companies from 14 African countries to emerge tops. ...more
